Vicinity
A screening series of short films and video works
October 16 - November 7
Starting Friday, October 16, we're excited to launch our fall program.
We’ve organized a screening series of short films and video works featuring 11 visual artists. Titled ‘Vicinity’, and loosely dovetailing from our last exhibition, ‘INT. Gallery,’ the selection of work brings into casual contact a variable range of fictional and nonfiction works from varying artist practices and concerns. It broadly considers how artists use production design and its attendant verisimilitude never as a latent feature of image-making or scene-setting but as a series of disparate relations that come together to narrate stories, advance ideas, or underscore the emotional and psychological imperatives of the work.
The program's 2-hour-plus schedule allows visitors to drop in and out, return, and revisit anytime during our open hours.
The program will run at our gallery, Fridays (4- 8 PM) and Saturdays (12- 5 PM), ending on Nov 7.
Limited seating available. Please plan accordingly
